(Grevillea Lanigera)
A low-growing shrub – great in hanging baskets, contained in planters, or in rock and gravel gardens.
Over 300 species of Grevillea are known to exist. They are part of the Proteaceae family, which also includes plants such as Banksias and Waratahs.
The pinkish-red and cream flowers appear from winter to summer, and attract birds.
INDIGENOUS – No. Grevilleas are native to Australia.

SIZE – 15cm (height) x 100cm (width), 0,5m to 1m height range
GROWING CONDITIONS – Well suited to coastal conditions.
SOIL – Well drained, acidic, sand / rocky soil is ideal.
CARE – Water well to establish in 1-2 years. Use a natural mulch low in phosphorus. Do not fertilize. Pick all flowers to maintain shape.
FROST TOLERANCE – Moderate frost tolerance once established.
