(Scarlet Sprite X Alpine)
This small, naturally compact shrub with blue green foliage is a great addition to any garden. From autumn to spring, beautiful bright red and yellow flowers cover the plant – a great attraction for birds. It makes a good border plant or low hedge.
SIZE – 70cm (height) x 100cm (width), 0,5m to 1m height range.
FLOWERS – September through November
FROST TOLERANCE – Light Frost tolerance once established.
SOIL – Needs well drained, acidic soil that is sandy or rocky.
CARE – Water well to establish 1-2 years. Use a natural mulch low in phosphorus. Do not fertilize. Pick all flowers to maintain shape.
